RAGE IS ALL THE RAGE
Has all our media access given us a chance to vent or does it just incite us to near riot when our personal shibboleths are in dispute? We can remember when things started to blow up big time in the U.S. Post Office. Postal workers seemed to get fed up and turned violent, shooting at fellow workers and supervisors. It even created a new phrase, "going postal."
Now
we hear a lot about road rage. The pundits are wringing their hands
about the escalating hatred in public and political discourse that they
claim is cynical and critical of the government.
And how about them Tigers and White Sox players who threw a pissy
fit of a brawl in the middle of "America's National Pastime"
recently?
The bombing of a Federal Building, the many shootings in schools, office buildings and in the streets plus the hate in Little Havana's mobs all add volumes to the rage index. Only recently the age-old, culturally accepted rage of men against women has been recognized as criminal but it still is increasing.
Every day brings new examples of rage -- AND THE PERPS ARE MOST ALWAYS MALE! Even male children under the age of puberty are killing, so RAGE cannot be excused because all raging males are TESTOSTER-STONED and can't help themselves.
This excess of hate and rage occurring mostly in males can be traced, at least in part, directly to our culture which ALLOWS males to hate and rage while restricting females. Just look at the way our psychologists have set up "normal" profiles for males and females. A certain "score" for a male would be called "low aggression" while the same score given to a female would be called "abnormally aggressive."
The testing criteria were constructed on the false premise that NORMAL in all males are tendencies to be aggressive. NORMAL in all females are tendencies to be regressive.
NORMALS are predicated on the cultural conditioning of both genders. This has resulted in a society that is forgiving of rage in males and penalizes aggressive females.
These same tests also delineate other characteristics that are termed female or male. These are being used by politicians to APPEAL to women, who will determine the November election results -- the GENDERGAP. The tests show what women want to hear and see, what they respond to positively, and any special words that influence them. Embarrassing, isn't it that we are so easily influenced?
You can check this out for yourself. Here's a couple of criteria to assess: women like being flattered and women like soft, positive wording. So, even if you personally happen to barff every time you see GW Bush, control yourself and listen. He's going after your and your sister's vote like a suitor -- a veritable olaf in sheik's clothing.
With big signs behind him shouting in large print: "W" STANDS FOR WOMEN, Bush tailors his words and phrases to influence women who have failed to define themselves and are still cultural slaves. And the proof is, as usual, in the pudding. Polls show that women are responding. He is leading in both women and men WHO INTEND TO VOTE IN NOVEMBER.
Now we know that men are NOT influenced by such trivial things as flattery. They have a serious reason for picking Bush in the polls: BUSH ONCE OWNED A MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL TEAM. Addlepated women, on the other hand, just swoon and go brain dead when flattered. This is despite the fact that a majority of these same women are AGAINST THE TOBACCO LOBBY. They are for GUN CONTROL, REPRODUCTIVE CHOICE AND THE SAVING OF SOCIAL PROGRAMS LIKE MEDICARE AND SOCIAL SECURITY. They also poll that they favor Democrats in education and campaign finance reforms.
"W" and his fellow Republicans have shown in both word and deed that they have not, and do not, and will not support women's issues so why are a majority of women now saying they will vote for him?
Because he is saying the words that "attract" them. He's flitting among the flowers of their minds like a demented bee. They succumb to the flattery by habit, and their brains melt. "Golly, gosh, gee -- `W' stands for women. Isn't that just too cute?"
So just like men are "expected" to RAGE, women are "expected" to succumb to FLATTERY. It's considered NORMAL GENDER SPECIFIC BEHAVIOR. Think about it: all the brain washing is NOT just done in communist countries.
And how 'bout that rage expressed by Cuban Americans about 'da kid going back to Cuba because he would NOT BE FREE BUT WOULD BE OWNED BY THE STATE? How is that unlike the U.S.A. where PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE G. W. BUSH, most of Congress AND MANY STATE GOVERNORS want to own and control women's bodies?
Legend tells us what happened to sailors who succumbed to the "Song of the Sirens." Their ships were broken up on the rocks and they all perished.
