IF THE IMAGE FITS

Well now the state is a tool of religion, and the corporations pour million$ into the Bushite campaign to support and elevate the military armada. Tax dollars that should go to schools, medical or Social Security now are used to transfuse the military/industrial complex into a fearsome beast thirsting for still more war after Iraq which is being called Dubya Dubya II.

Remember President Dwight Eisenhower's warning?

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military/industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Remember how Republicans made it appear they were running against President Clinton in 2000? They kept a no holes bared barrage going on all the things they had been accusing him of since before he was elected president. The actual Democratic candidate, Al Gore was ridiculed.

Well, they are doing it again as they get their hate and defilement campaign revved up for 2004. And contrasting the images they will give the American voter of President Clinton, are the images of Bush, the never elected C in C.

Most of the time now you will see him photographed before an American icon like the Stature of Liberty or the presidential quartet at Mt. Rushmore or appearing in a pre-stuffed flight suit. Right now a movie is being made in Canada to reverse the REAL image of Bush on 9/11.

It makes him into a strong, profane, forceful and brave leader insisting that his security people take him back to D.C. This is to wipe the true image taken on 9/11 of his scared bunny look.

The country did very well under the Clinton presidency despite the scandal and constant fruitless investigations. Repug strategists want to keep that contrast with the Bushites failing economy away from the voter's minds. This will not be hard as long as they continue to have control of the media.

We watched President Clinton talk to students on C-Span and he was awesome. (You can see it at the C-Span Website.) The obvious contrast in intelligence between him and Bush is also NOT something the Bushites want voters to see.

So they are hyping up the nasty images, making cartoon characters out of Democratic candidates so voters will think they are weak and ineffective. At the same time they are associating a sometimes scary, far left liberal image with Democrats. Most especially, they want to heat up their demonizing of the Clintons.

There's a book out now devoted entirely to proving that Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton are EVIL and traitors. We heard the author, Robert Patterson, Colonel Air Force retired lecture on his book called Dereliction of Duty: The Eyewitness Account of How Bill Clinton Endangered America's long-term National Security.

Nothing much new here. We've heard the same sort of spiel from the rychus ones like Rev. Jerry Falwell since Clinton was ELECTED president. Patterson told his audience things about the Clintons that were unproven and unprovable.

He exhorted them to fear that Hillary would run for president and win next year and how that would be the downfall of civilization. But his revelations convicted him of the same foul deeds he accused President Clinton of -- dereliction of duty.

In the Clinton White House, he held the position of a trusted military aid sworn to protect and uphold the office of the president. Instead, he used the position and trust given him to write the typical sorehead's tattletale book.

Too bad he had to go back to incidences that occurred before his time at the White House and pull up mud to sling at the Clintons. It sure ruined his self-acclaimed position of "eye witness." It's all about image so why shouldn't we join in the imagery-creation sweepstakes? Two can play at that game! We've already called attention to Bush's poofed-up pelvic implants but so far, only cartoonist have seen and illustrated the real bush-baby behind the man-in-suit façade; the simian beneath.

The eye of the artist makes our own eyes see clearer. Note the eyes and the ears seen by the artist's eye. Take a look for yourselves when the TV shows Bush ambling along with a strange gait, while others walk beside him. Most people walk with their arms at the side and the thumb facing forward. Monkeys and Bush walk with the back of the hand facing forward.

Remember how a nuclear holocaust launched the Planet of the Apes? Capture the essence of the un-elected Bush images with the artistry of one cartoonist, Steve Bell and pass them around. Why should Karl Rove and his thugs have all the fun?
