TWISTING IN AN EVIL WIND

"It's gotta be this or that", doesn't it? Apparently not, and if the object is to keep the country in a permanent schizoid frame of mind, it is working.
        • EXIT POLLS: We are told that they were wrong, wrong, wrong this year when they indicated a Kerry win. Yet...

we are fed all the information from those SAME exit polls as TRUTH by the media to prove that most people voted for Republican values, rejecting implied Democratic godlessness.

        • CONCESSION: The Democratic standard bearer conceded the 2004 presidential election to Bush before all the votes were counted to save the country from a long drawn out post election squabble. This despite the many indications of election fraud, yet...

Wouldn't four more years of Bush hurt the country more? That leader and other Democratic politicians spent two years and our contributions delineating the LIES, errors and dangers of the Bush presidency -- wars, a huge national debt, loss of Social Security, environmental damage, destruction of rights for women and gays, a determination to mix church state, just to list just a few.

        • REPUBLICAN VALUES: In short, the red states have Jesus -- that is they attend church regularly. The blue states do not, according to the very exit polls that were declared incorrect when they showed a Kerry win, yet...

Republicans, led by Bush, professing adherence to family values especially religious values have brought wars and destruction to our country.

Under Republican family values, our young women and men have been killed and injured as well as innocent Iraqi women, men and children. Their values are hurting the old by weakening S.S.; and the young by withholding funding for education. They have initiated and fostered a culture of hate in this country and the world.

Jesus, aka the Prince of Peace, is most exemplified in the tenets of the Democrats who have always championed peace, social programs that aid the ill and infirm, the elderly, the poor, the children and minority civil rights.

Just read the Beatitudes [Matthew 5:1-12] "the values of Christ" and compare them to what Republicans are doing. http://www.spirituality.org/issue01/page03.html

Does anyone really believe that a preemptive war is a value of Jesus?

Study after study on the dependability of exit polls show them to be persistently within the margin of error, ie, near fool proof.

How could the exit polls in this year's presidential election have diverged so drastically from the results that election officials and the media announced?

Professor Steven Freeman, a statistician at the University of Pennsylvania, offers a disturbing answer. Looking at the exit polls and announced results in Ohio, Florida, and Pennsylvania, he concludes that the odds against such an accidental discrepancy in all three states together was 250 million to one.

"As much as we can say in social science that something is impossible, it is impossible that the discrepancies between predicted and actual vote counts in the three critical battleground states of the 2004 election could have been due to chance or random error." http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/111404A.shtml
Could the exit polls be in error about red state voter's reasons for voting for Bush? Could they also have indicated other inconsistencies in wome's and minority's votes? Could the reason the exit polls were wrong on picking the presidential candidate be due to voting fraud?

        • More votes tabulated than there were registered voters in some districts
        • Diebolt black boxes without any paper trail
        • In the 12 critical states (CO,FL,MI,MN,NE,NV,NH,NM,OH,PA,WI,IA) the average discrepancy was a 2.5% red shift (= total movement of 5.0%), nearly twice that in the safe states. "
        • Recount set for Ohio because of massive irregularities.
