'TIS THE SEASON

This is a group of Americans that mostly supported [and still do] the Bush war in Iraq and his penchant for continued war. They bought into his lies for the need to invade Iraq and never questioned them -- until they all blew up in their faces.

So send them a card, but forget the sugary holiday crap. Tell them what you think of them. If there is evidence of election fraud in your state, be sure to challenge the fact that they have not been front and center to correct it.

Point out to them how all the worst screw-ups in his administration get either promoted or honored by Bush -- the latest being characterized as "The 3 horsemen of the Iraqalypse."

Send a nice, loving thank-you card to Air America and all the great people that have made a Liberal spot of heaven in a media of conservative hell. We need to encourage them to continue, and thank them often. E-mail addies for each show/blog may be found at http://www.airamericaradio.com

While you're still in the mood, do the same for all the bloggers out there that have labored mightily to keep the traditional media halfway honest. Also thank them for bringing us news and information we might never have gotten from the Bush controlled TV channels and newspapers.

Ditto for the Internet. It has given us access to overseas newspapers and opinions. It's nice to have friends in the world since we have none in the White House.

Finally, there are some folks in the traditional media who are waking up to what has been going on in the Bush administration since he stole office. Send cards to encourage as well as excoriate them.

Continue to sock it to 'em right through the holidays with an extra dollop of New Year's reminders to stay alert and dig deeper into the morass that is Bush.

Remind them of the hatchet job they did on Dan Rather. The consensus is that he was set up by Bush's architect of the evil, Karl Rove, who planted the forged papers and alerted the blogs. He knew the rest of the media would finish Dan off.

The object was to burn Rather so badly that everyone else would be warned away from finding out all the facts about Bush's lies concerning his National Guard service before the election. And it worked!!!

While you are sending out cards, be sure to send some to your local activists. They worked so long and hard to inform people of the issues by going door to door during the Primaries and the general election in November.

Let them know how much you appreciate their efforts and encourage them to begin the fight to remove the destructive Repugs from office. Better still, tell them you will be joining them.
