BY THEIR DEEDS

Ridiculous! For nasty, vituperative, lying misrepresentation of people, places and things, the Elephants are the undisputed champs.

The plain fact is that the massive negative Elephant attacks, backed up by the media, have increased in ferocity and viciousness until it is "all Ann Coulter all the time."

The media not only spreads the Elephant's message, it protects the Elephant from charges made by the Donkey by calling them conspiracy theories. Thus the opposition Party is made mute and ineffective in any debate.

Despite all of the terrible lies and actions by the Elephant Emperor and his herd, they pay no consequence. They do not recognize lies and mistakes, apologize for them or correct them. They remain omnipotent by ignoring the braying Donkey knowing the media will lay it all to conspiracy theory.

What does the Donkey do then? It gets smart and strong using truth as a club to deliver a pile-driving hind-leg kick to the Elephant by taking away its game plan; by refusing to follow their lead. It listens to its base - the grassroots.

First off, face facts, admit it. There is no one showing leadership in the Party except for Senator Barbara Boxer and a handful of ever gutsy Representatives. Last year's standard bearer pooped out before all the ballots were even counted.

Second, stop with the hand-wringing already and accentuate the positive of which there is plenty. Understand that whatever you do or say the Elephants will laugh at you and call you names.

Third, ignore them and speak only of the positive things, the humanitarian things that Democrats stand for. They are all backed up by past deeds and are programs that help the poor, the children, the elders, the marginalized, the environment and the challenged.

Fourth, you don't win by being a bigger horse's ass than they are.

Yes, you will be baited unmercifully but ignore the Elephants and concentrate only on the problems that exist now.

Speak of the environmental problems; the dangerous misinformation promulgated by the Dept. Health & Welfare. Speak and write about a terrible and unnecessary war in Iraq and how it has killed so many of our young troops and Iraqi people; how it has shattered their country and decimated our reserve forces. Tell of the positive things that Americans are doing. http://www.globalexchange.org/

Do not always name the authorship of these foul deeds, such as the boob in the WH, because everyone knows who is responsible. Concentrate on the foul deeds and ignore the doers of those deeds. Nothing in the world cuts like being ignored.

Example: Democrats must stop talking about being for women's issues and start making women part of all the issues affecting humanity. Let the Elephants speak the shock-talk words that they have falsely defined. Don't help them reinforce them.

Be positive that Dems support the best health care for women and men alike. Those conditions that only affect women's bodies are between women and their doctors just as those conditions affecting only men's bodies are between men and their doctors.

Write and talk about the Democratic doers and shakers, especially women, on all levels of the political structure. The contrast will be obvious.

This is not giving up or backing down. This is taking charge of the debate that the Elephants have been hitting us over the head with. This is being smart (intelligent) and making them smart (hurt) because they cannot stand being ignored

They can only score points by slashing away with the ever sharp knife of ridicule. When the Donkey ignores it and concentrates on its humanitarian goals, the Donkey kicks ass.

Remember: Talk always of Democratic deeds in a controlled and pleasant manner. It will be heard by the electorate.
