CULTURE OF LIES
 That's
not a typo. The Bush tribe can try to usurp the Pope's line
but the facts of his administration shout "liar, liar, pants on fire"
with increasing decibels. It is not just the overwhelming corruption of
Rep Delay of Texas either.
The Bushites are proving the old saying that "POWER CORRUPTS AND ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY." The things they are saying about Social Security are mostly lies. To stand in front of a file cabinet and claim that our county's government bonds are worthless is not just a lie but foolhardy as it undermines our economy. But nothing is as egregious as the lies they are telling about the additions they are seeking to the miss-named Patriot Act. It should be called the "Gut the Constitution Act." It would allow any one of us to be arrested and held without any contact. We would not be allowed a phone call to a lawyer and we would not be told the charges. Our families and friends would not know where we are or what has happened to us. Patriot Act Abuses and Misuses Abound, ACLU Says -- http://www.aclu.org/SafeandFree/SafeandFree.cfm?ID=17920&c=206 Bush has nominated judges that are so Conservative that even members of his own Party in the Senate will not support them. Errors are not admitted and those that make them are promoted. He has recently nominated John Bolton ambassador to the United Nations, Bush's plan is to put someone dedicated to destroying the U.N. and who will ride roughshod over international opinion in this sensitive diplomatic post. Our young people are still being killed in Iraq fighting a war that was waged only for self aggrandizement and oil. Enrollment in our voluntary military services and National Guard is shrinking daily. Our country is in danger with nearly all of our Guard serving in the near East. In danger from without from terrorist groups, and from within from floods, fires and other localized calamities because there are so few Guard left to call out for help. The Bush doctrine on protecting the weak and vulnerable members of our society is restricted to opposition to clinical/legal abortion, stem cell research, gun control and euthanasia. Their support for the culture of life is very narrow as they encourage wars and capital punishment. They favor abolishing Social Security, eliminating the protection of bankruptcy laws for the struggling middle class and the rape of our environment. Their power is sustained and built upon lies that promise what they have no intention of delivering. Our national debt is out of sight and if we are ever to be free again we must fight against the Bush administration's attack against our Constitution AND TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK. 2005-015 Copyright 2005 Renee T.
