PREVIEW OF COMING DISTRACTIONS
| It used to be
said that the only sure things we could count on were death and taxes but
that was then, this is now.
The killings in Iraq go on and on as our reserves and National Guards are sent to make that country safe for Democracy. As to be expected, the poor enlistment officers, trying to meet their quota of still more cannon fodder for Bush are working overtime. Polls show that the Iraqi war is losing favor with U.S. voters. When people start questioning the killings of our troops in Iraq you can be sure we'll get the news that yet another Saddam instigated mass grave has been found. Now that the illness and death of a Pope has been covered 24/7 by the media for weeks, it has found a few moments to cover some important news for this country. Belatedly it has discovered the slime encased Republican Representative, Tom Delay. True to form, Republicans are claiming
that Democrats are making up all the charges against him. This is just
a variation on the way they blame everything that goes wrong on Democrats. Come to think of it there are no women at all in the Catholic hierarchy priesthood. Those descendants of the Blessed Virgin Mary are not deemed fit. Some say because she was not made in the image of God as are men. Others point to how religions have considered woman to be unclean because of her menstrual blood. The real reasons may be found in the ancient manuscripts tightly controlled in the Vatican library. Don't count on ever seeing them. It took over four years but finally some of the Congressional Democrats are waking up to the fact the Bush has consistently used the extremely expensive Air Force One to carry him at taxpayers expense to preach his agenda to Americans. Understand that the only Americans allowed to attend his speeches are thoroughly vetted, true red, Bush sycophants. Restriction like this is unlawful and Congress should have called him on it years ago. But by far the scariest thing going on is the deep drop in Bush's poll numbers. When this happens we can expect him to invade another country. War has always worked so well for him. The word is that it's attack Iran in June. We predict that U.N. hater, Bolton, will be our next ambassador to the U.N. Why shouldn't he be selected by this administration? Bush wants the U.N. destroyed and what better way to accomplish this than from the inside. Besides, he needs Bolton on the inside to ram through his Iran invasion.. 2005-016 Copyright 2005 Renee T. However,
it is only a brief respite since the media is already gearing up to speculate
on the identity of the next Pope 24/7. A very sure thing is that it will
not be a woman since the Pope must be a Cardinal and there are no women
Cardinals.
